The Gonzalez & Alvarez Law Office

The Law Office
The Gonzalez & Alvarez Law Office is a general law practice located in Urgello Street, Cebu City.  We provide legal consultation and research in response to queries on different legal issues, act as counsel for litigation before the courts and other tribunals, and provide notarial services. We are also engaged in public legal education and human rights advocacy.

Our Principles

The Gonzalez & Alvarez Law Office is dedicated to utilizing the law and legal processes for the protection and promotion of human rights, peace and justice. As lawyers and good citizens, we recognize that it is our obligation to bring the law closer to the people and to make justice accessible for all Filipinos by serving our clients with honesty, good faith and excellence.

We believe in the concept of Restorative Justice where the legal system should not be merely punitive in nature but should work for the restoration of both victims and violators of the law towards their reintegration into the community as productive citizens.

We consider litigation as a last resort for the resolution of legal issues and espouse the process of mediation for concerned parties before resorting to the filing of cases in court.
